Our Workshops
DK has a hugely-impressive, purpose-built, service facility in Chorleywood (Hertfordshire) specifically for Ferrari servicing. This includes a 8,000sq ft workshop (including eleven ramps for Ferrari servicing), plus a dedicated engine and gearbox workshop, all housed in our converted traditional farm buildings.
Our technicians are either ex-Ferrari main dealer, factory trained, or trained in-house by our qualified seniors.

Contemporary Ferrari Servicing
The name 'DK Engineering' has been synonymous with the Ferrari community since 1977.
With our combined experience in servicing Ferrari vehicles totaling more than two centuries, whether it's a 166MM, a 275 GTB, an F40, or a competition car, our certified technicians have access to all the essential tools and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment required to service and repair such cars within our workshop facilities. Whether your Ferrari requires routine servicing, track day preparations, or a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration, DK Engineering is dedicated to ensuring it reaches the utmost levels of excellence.
We are fully equipped with the latest Ferrari tooling and diagnostics equipment and will our experienced team will ensure your vehicle is maintained to manufacturer's specifications and beyond.
Classic Model Servicing
We are highly-experienced in the service of historic Ferraris. We hold a stock of specialist tools, manuals, original parts (including some of the rarest and unobtainable parts in stock at all times) and many newly-made replacement parts for all models. We pride ourselves on being able to make the Ferraris cared for by DK drive and perform better than the day they left the factory.

Inspections
When purchasing a Ferrari, it is crucial to have an inspection carried out in order to avoid any unexpected surprises during ownership. We offer the facility to have a thorough inspection and report carried out, either at our facility or on location.
Engine Shop
All our Ferrari engines and gearboxes are rebuilt in house. From routine overhaul of Colombo V12 engines to the intricate and delicate rebuilding of the complicated Lampredi engines. A particular speciality of ours are the four-cylinder engines of the 1950’s that were often thought in period to be too difficult to rebuild.
Race / Rally Support, Prep & Consultancy
For more than 45 years, DK Engineering has been involved in some interesting and rarefied race preparation programmes. We are able to offer complete race support programmes including race meeting support with our race lorry, mechanics, and team equipment. Our commitment to detail, experience and impressive facilities ensure that DK-prepared cars are consistently the fastest in their class. We have experience with Tour Auto, Masters Historic Racing, Monaco Historic Grand Prix, Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival, Le Mans Classic, Mille Miglia, Tour d’Espagna, Monterey Motorsports Reunion, the Spa Six Hours and many more. Furthermore, we work closely with a number of independent race preparers, and are happy to fully manage the process on your behalf for a seamless experience.
Rolling Road Dyno Cell
DK Engineering’s state-of-the-art Dyno Cell was purpose-built to accommodate any two-wheel drive vehicle up to 1000bhp. Moreover, the cell will cater for front- or rear-wheel drive cars of any size, be it a Caterham, a GT car, a Touring Car or even a Group C sports-prototype. The cell has been specially-designed for controllable airflow but, most importantly, adequate airflow throughout which is essential but often overlooked; it is a delicately controlled environment for consistency of readings.
Complete Mechanical Overhauls
Since inception mechanical repair work and major overhauls have been a large part of our business. We are able to carry out all forms of mechanical overhauls on a vast range of Ferraris and Jaguars.
Through comprehensive engine, gearbox, suspension and drive train recommissioning we will reinvigorate your car’s drivability. We are also able to replace braking systems, shocks, seals, mounts, exhaust systems, fuel pumps and ignition systems to name but a few.
Machine Shop
Specialist machining, where economical, is carried out on site.
Whether it's working on retaining critical matching-number status or rebuilding a new engine for spares, DK Engineering is world renowned for its Ferrari and Jaguar engine experience and expertise. From standard units to competition and modern upgrades the DK Engineering team is skilled to handle the most complex of builds.
Detailing & PPF Application Bay
Our indoor wash bay provides our master detailers with an incredibly bright stage and a stable environment in which to clean, machine-polish and prepare motor cars to the very highest standard. We also use our detailing bay to carry out restoration strip-downs and apply paint protection films.
