Setting a benchmark for vehicle storage
Our fully staffed multi-level storage facilities are located 7 minutes away from the main DK workshop. Our facilities are very secure, located within a discreet gated estate and protected by a CAT-5 intruder and fire alarm systems. Our CCTV systems are also remotely monitored 24h a day, 365 days a year.
During your vehicle's stay with us, we will regularly inspect your vehicle, checking tyre pressures and fluid leakage, vehicle battery state and tax and MOT status if required. We are able to arrange servicing, repairs, coachworks and MOT testing.
We can offer a full range of services as required, including professional detailing, covered car transport and even race preparation with delivery to a circuit of your choice.
We believe we provide the complete vehicle concierge service and can accommodate any particular requirement you may have, subject to prior consultation.

Scissor Lifts
Across our sites we have multiple flush with the floor hydraulic scissor lifts. They each have a capacity of 3500kg and the ability to transport cars to upper floors.
Stringo Vehicle Mover
To move vehicles around our facilities without having to start them (thus eliminating fumes and maintaining clean air) we use a Stringo mover where possible.
PPF Application Bay & Detailing
Our detailing bay provides our team with a bright stage and a stable environment in which to clean, machine-polish and apply paint protection films (PPF) to the highest standard.
Pre Storage Checks & Prep
Pre storage check report generated. This includes increasing tyre pressures to eliminate flat spots, checking fluids, bodywork condition, seat covers added, mileage noted etc.
Workshop
We happily take care of any servicing or repair needs for your car in our modern workshop. Routine servicing, preventative maintenance, repairs, installations and more.

Storage Details
Our minimum term for storage is 13 weeks from the date your vehicle enters our storage facility, this can continue for as long as you wish, with an ongoing rolling contract until you decide to remove permanently.
During your vehicles stay with us, we will regularly inspect and check tyre pressures and fluid leakage, vehicle battery state and TAX and MOT status if required. We can arrange servicing, repairs, coachworks and MOT testing. Battery conditioner chargers and covers can also be supplied. We strongly advise fitting a charger to ensure the condition and efficacy of the battery is maintained.
We also offer all manner of cosmetic vehicle care such as detailing paint correction, paint protection film (PPF), wheel refurbishment and valeting.
Should you wish to opt-in, we offer our vehicle exercise programme, your car will be stared and run on a regular basis, therefore keeping it 'ready to go' for those moments when you want to use and enjoy it.
Access is available during working hours, Monday to Friday and by appointment only at weekends. Should you wish to temporally extract and use the car at any time during its storage period then a minimum of 48 hours notice is required before collection. The car will be prepared before extraction and then methodically checked in on its return.
We ask that vehicles enter our storage clean and decontaminated of road silt. Both to maintain the cleanliness of the facility and preserve the condition of the vehicle. A charge is applied for cars requiring a full valet.

Pre-storage preparation
- Condition photographed and recorded.
- Walk around video recorded with any marks noted.
- Unique ID assigned, keys tagged and record created.
- Interior protection applied to drivers seat, steering wheel and floor.
- Carefully washed, dried and vacuumed (or detailed etc).
- Engine fluid levels and battery health checked.
- Tyre pressures increased for storage to prevent flat spotting.
- Brakes applied to remove wash flash rust from the brake discs.
- Drip tray slid beneath to monitor any potenital fluid loss.
Storage maintenance
Once your vehicle has passed through our induction process it is accepted into the storage area of our facility and allocated a storage bay.
- Soft breathable indoor covers supplied.
- Automatic CTEK battery conditioner on every vehicle (or supplied option).
- Daily checks – all storage areas inspected minimum twice daily.
- Every 7 days – battery charger status and drip tray inspected.
- Every 60 days – fluids and pressures checked, engine started, vehicle run up to temperature on internal rolling road to lightly exercise mechanical and electrical components. Any defects noted and notified to client with suggested remedy.
Departure protocol
When using a vehicle stored with DK we want it to be a pleasure. Pre-handover we ensure your vehicle is ‘on the button’ and looking immaculate.
- MOT & Road tax validity checked.
- Battery, lights and horn checked.
- Fluid levels checked.
- Screen wash topped up.
- Tyre pressures set.
- Interior and Exterior finished.
- Electronics checked - including Radio checked, clock set.
- Quality check carried out prior to hand over.
- Door to door delivery service available or collect from us.
