The final ferocious iteration of the form, the 675LT was developed from the already ballistic 650S. The LT saw power rise from the original 640bhp up to 666bhp or 675PS. The car retains the McLaren developed MonoCell, a single-pressed Carbon Fibre Tub that weighs just 80kg and provides the car with the bulk of its rigidity. Despite the fact just 500 Coupes were made, the 675 has 33% new parts, and half of the 3.8Litre engine upgraded to find an extra 25bhp.
Inspired by the McLaren F1 GTR 'Longtail' the Limited Edition 675LT is 100kg lighter, more powerful and has 40% more downforce than the 650S below it. A stickler for facts and figures, McLaren managed to make the conrods 11% lighter, the spring rates 27% stiffer, the engine speed change rate 55% faster and even on the smaller scale, the front tyre grip was increased by 6%.
Just 500 examples were produced by the factory.
Please note, this vehicle is no longer for sale.
This example was first supplied 12th May 2016 to current Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo at his residence in Monaco. Optioned from new in MSO Bespoke hue with a name that roughly translates from Australian slang as 'Foolish'... Babaloo Blue, over a Carbon Black Alcantata interior.
This example sees liberal use of MSO's exposed carbon fibre;
The interior is almost exclusively optioned in Carbon Black Alcantara with stitching highlights in a complementary blue. The switchgear has been completed by MSO, finished in body-matching Babaloo Blue. This example is further enhanced by the optioning of the front axle vehicle lifting system, ultra lightweight 10-spoke wheels in Stealth finish, matching that of the exterior badging and black brake calipers.
This example has been exclusively serviced by McLaren Monaco, completing its most recent service in February 2024.
Presenting today with just 2,300 km from new, this 675LT awaits its next custodian and is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately.
