The Ferrari Testarossa was first unveiled at the 1984 Paris Auto Show, quickly becoming the poster car of a generation. The design that would rival the Lamborghini Countach was a drastic change from the 512 BB that the car derived from.
Not only did Ferrari sway from the smooth lines seen on its prior, they also radically changed the engine from what was formally seen in the BB. It had four-valves per cylinder, Marelli electronic ignition, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, and capable of producing 390 bhp from the 4943 cc horizontally opposed 12 cylinders. All versions of the Testarossa were rear wheel drive and had a rear-mounted, five-speed manual transmission.
This wonderful example is an 8 owner, low mileage car with desirable Rossa Corsa over Crema colour combination. It was purchased new via Maranello Concessionaires and delivered to a Roger Barker based in Southbourne, Dorset on 4th January 1989.
Having only covered 260 miles since its last service in 2021, this example presents in exceptional condition both cosmetically and mechanically.
Accompanied by its original bookpack which includes the Owners manual and Owners Service book, this Testarossa presents with full UK registration since new and is located in our showrooms just outside London and available to view immediately.
