The new year began in style for DK Engineering, with Acquisition Consultant Jonathan Pace and Specialist Parts & Vehicle Consultant Jordan Batson crossing the Atlantic to attend the Cavallino Classic in sunny Miami, Florida—one of the most prestigious Ferrari events in the calendar.
The four-day trip started with visits to several friends and clients as well as dealers across the state, strengthening relationships and inspecting a range of exceptional Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches. With a focus on sourcing special cars for both our clients and our own stock, the team had the opportunity to explore exclusive private collections, assess significant investment-grade cars, and negotiate potential acquisitions. Each visit provided a unique insight into the ever-evolving collector car market, reinforcing DK’s position as a trusted specialist in securing the rarest and most desirable vehicles.
On the concours lawn, in celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Ferrari F50 stole the spotlight with a strong presence. A notable highlight for DK was seeing a former F50 sold by us awarded its second Platinum award, much to the delight of its owner. Amidst the sea of Prancing Horses, the F40 once again proved its timeless appeal, drawing admiration from enthusiasts and collectors alike.
The event also provided a unique platform for enthusiasts and industry experts to discuss Ferrari’s recently launched F80, which made an exciting appearance. Seeing Ferrari’s latest flagship hypercar in the flesh sparked conversations about the brand’s evolution, engineering advancements, and how the F80 continues the legacy of its predecessors, including the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari. We look forward to seeing them at DK in years to come!
As a long-term supporter and entrant of the Cavallino Classic, we were pleased to see DK Engineering’s booklets included in the exclusive gift bags and our advertisement featured in the Cavallino magazine, further cementing our presence within the international Ferrari community. For those who weren’t there, the booklet can be seen online here.
Beyond the stunning Ferraris and concours accolades, the event served as the perfect setting to connect with new and existing clients, discuss future acquisitions, and lay the groundwork for exciting opportunities in the year ahead.
