'Highly Commended' at London Concours

Returning once more to the inimitable Honourable Artillery Company in the heart of the City of London, this year saw a great selection of cars spearheaded by the return of the Cars by Colour series. Following on from last year's Make Green Great Again partnership, this year the London Concours saw a tie in with Instagram-success Make Purple Great Again bringing together 9 of the finest cars, of any age and class united by their hue. James' personal car, a 1 of 16 Porsche 911 2.7 RS in Lilac, seemingly took centre stage in an avenue lined with the greatest Italian and British marques. Owned by five time Le Mans competitor Simon F Phillips for 30 years, this UK RHD Touring was restored in 2015 and despite seeing regular use on both the road and in rallies across Europe, the little 2.7 RS secured a 'Highly Commended' behind a truly stunning supercharged Lamborghini Diablo SE30.
