Heveningham Hall in Suffolk was once more centre stage for the fifth installment of the motorsport and aviation concours. Welcoming 40 of the finest road going and competition cars to the gardens originally penned by arguably the most famous British landscape gardener, Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.
DK handled the delivery of several cars to the event on behalf of their owners. Gianni Agnelli’s sole factory-built Ferrari Testarossa Spider was on the lawn and we additionally sent the owners 812 GTS for use on the tour. We also assisted with the delivery of three previously sold cars, each one entered into the concours. These included a 1 of 7 RHD 365 GTS/4 ‘Daytona’ Spider, the recently in-house restored Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB #1995GT and ‘86PJ’, a semi-lightweight Jaguar E-Type of considerable provenance and ultimate winner of the Best Post War Car in the concours.
The event was started off on Friday 1st July with a driving tour of the local Suffolk roads. Lunch was arranged at the Landguard Fort in the port of Felixstowe. The tour was attended by members of SupercarDriver as well as Concours entrants and guests. A diverse mix of cars were involved, including both of the Ferraris previously sold by DK and a mix of the lastest Bugatti hypercars, Porsches and Ferrari’s, both new and old. Whilst David Cottingham’s Ferrari 500 TRC was on the concours lawn, both David and Kate piloted their RHD 275 GTB on the tour.
