Riyadh Car Show 2019

Arriving with a storm the “Riyadh Car Show” was the very first of its type in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is the largest country in the Arabian region. The “Riyadh Car Show” brought together the “Global Auto Salon” with the” Ferrari motorsports Festival” as well as the “Seven” Concours spread around a central live action arena, which showcased Ferrari Formula One cars , FXX’s 599XXs as well as stunt displays by the world renowned Terry Grant. As part of the larger “Riyadh Season” of events and ultimately the Vision 2030 project, this week-long event put the first marker post in the desert that Saudi Arabia may well be a major part of the collector car world moving forward.

DK Engineering were invited by the Saudi Organising committee to showcase three unrepeatable cars at this landmark show, namely our ex-Beryl Reid DB5 Convertible, the Championship Winning “Gulf” 2.7 RS Lightweight and the Kirk F White Sebring 12 Hours Competition Daytona. All three cars drew attention and crowds throughout the duration of the event, showing the diversity of DK’s stocklist. We were delighted to be one of a very select few to attend this historic show and are looking forward to building further relationships in this exciting region.
