In an unexpected follow up to the Adrian Newey-penned ‘AM-RB001’ Valkyrie coupe, Aston Martin took the bold decision to remove the roof for an abbreviated run of spider variants. Limited to just 85 examples, the Spider is almost twice as rare as the Coupe yet its performance figures barely flutter.
Sharing the naturally aspirated 6.5 litre Cosworth V12 engine with the coupe, the Valkyrie Spider produces 1,000 hp at 10,500 rpm with the redline 1,000 rpm higher. Hybrid assistance contributes a further 160 hp and a combined torque figure of 664lb ft make for 0-60 in 2.6 seconds and an open top speed of 205mph, rising to a coupe-matching 217mph with the roof panel in place.
The ’gullwing’ look of the coupe make way for dihedral doors and the carbon fibre targa-style removable panel add transparent panels to the roof, greatly increasing light in the cabin when in place.
This example was supplied new in December 2023 to its sole keeper. Built to EU specification and in left hand drive, this example has covered just 75 miles from new.
The equipped specification totals £215,000 and is as follows:
Presenting superbly in Q Bespoke Satin Volcano Red and protected by full vehicle paint protection film, this incredible example is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately.
