The Ferrari 312PB was created at the start of the 1970s as a sports-prototype to compete against the 5 Litre cars with a smaller 3 Litre prototype class. At the time it was little more than a thinly veiled Formula 1 car, running a full width body work and intending to topple the fiercely competitive Porsche 917K from the throne in the World Sports Car Championship. Reserved solely for only the best drivers and the Ferrari Works Team, the cars were enormously competitive, agile and fast, winning all races entered in the 1972 season. The car also afforded the Cavallino Rampante its final championship win in the World Sports Car Championship.
Created in Italy in period, this childs car is based on a go kart chassis and running gear. The body takes the form of the legendary Ickyx/ Andretti 312PB. This childs car is the ideal collectors item to adorn the garage or office and is available for viewing at our showroom based just outside of London.
