This Aston Martin V12 Vanquish 2+2 is no longer available. Please contact us for any further information you may require.
The Vanquish was launched in 2001, and heralded the modern rebirth of Aston Martin. It was the stunning flagship the maker needed, designed by Ian Callum with its looks, pace and power, it became one of the world's most desirable cars. The following year, 007 took delivery of his in the film Die Another Day, where it boasted machine guns and a device that made it invisible! Sadly such options were not available on the publically available variant.
The Vanquish's phenomenal 5.9 litre V12 engine produces 460bhp, propelling the car from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 190mph; the crescendo of noise as the revs exceed 3,000rpm oozes character. The luxurious cabin somewhat contrasts the sporty exterior but the car is nonetheless regarded as a superbly designed and thoroughly capable long-distance GT car with a commanding presence on the road. Transmission comes in the form of a Tremec six-speed gearbox, which is controlled by a paddle shift system. The paddles are located on either side of the steering wheel and buttons are present to enable selection of reverse gear, automatic and sport modes. Fully independent suspension and brembo brakes are fitted, with ABS installed as standard.
This particular Vanquish was delivered in November 2001 to Stratstone of Wilmslow and is finished in Skye Silver with a Charcoal black leather interior. Despite its age, the car has just two owners from new and has covered less than 22,000 miles over the last 14 years. The car has been regularly maintained by Aston Martin and the last service stamp in the book is dated at the end of June 2015. Additionally the front sub frame (a known problem for these cars) was replaced in 2014 at the factory. The car has been superbly maintained over the years and as a result is presented in "on the button" condition and is ready to be enjoyed immediately. Viewings are available at our showroom located just outside of London.
