The 275 GTS was launched alongside the 275 GTB in October 1964 at the Paris Salon, the GTS was an overdue replacement for Ferrari's Series II 250 GT PF Cabriolet that had ceased production back in 1962. Producing 260bhp, as opposed to the Berlinetta's 280, the GTS was still a formidable performer. With its top speed of 147mph and 0-60 requiring just 6.6 seconds, little else could match it as a great all-rounder.

This car offered for sale by DK Engineering is one of just 200 cars built by Ferrari. It was completed in October 1965 and finished in the colour scheme it is presented in today of Bianco with Rosso Interior. This striking example was originally sold to the legendary John Von Neumann in 1965, he then however almost immediately resold the car to the USA where it would remain until the car was purchased by a Frenchman and thus returned it to the Europe, this owner kept the car for a decade before sold at auction in Monaco and the car would find a new home in Italy. Later the 275 was sold to Germany. For the last 11 years the car has been with a collector in Belgium during which time it was resotred. Now UK registered this Classiche Certified 275 GTS has just been treated a major service amounting to £20,000 and a result in our opinion the car needs for nothing.

This car represents an opportunity to acquire a wonderful example of what is a fast appreciating, undeniably pretty and very competent GTS Ferrari from the golden mid-sixties era of Ferrari history.
