With the farewell of the large capacity, the GLC 63 S, introduced in 2018 stands as a cornerstone for the V8 SUV. Powered by the venerable M177 4-litre ‘hot-vee’ twin-turbo V8 of the previous generation C63.

The uprated S puts 503hp (34 hp up on the standard car) to the ground through the 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system and a nine-speed multi-clutch transmission. 0-60 comes through in just 3.8 seconds, two tenths faster than a non-S.
