This Ferrari 458 Speciale is no longer available. Please contact us for any further information you may require.
At its launch it was the fastest V8 supercar ever produced by Ferrari, the 458 Speciale really needs no introduction. The already spectacular 458 platform benefits from a huge host of alterations including increased power which equates to the most driver-focussed Ferrari V8 ever produced. The increased power means the 458's Motor held a World Record for naturally aspirated output. The 458 Speciale's 605HP equates to 135hp/litre, an astonishing output. Perhaps not surprisingly, the 458 Speciale won the prestigious "2013 Supercar of the Year" award from Top Gear Magazine and 2014 Evo Magazine "Car of the Year".
Autocar Magazine formed the following conclusion on testing the awe-inspiring Speciale: "The mid-engined Ferrari supercar has reached a turning point, it strikes us - and there may never be a better one for purist thrill-seekers than the one you see here. Replaced by the '458M' – 488 Pista for want of the official name: a mid-life refresh of the chassis that introduced a new turbocharged engine. Looking back at what the introduction of turbochargers have done to BMW M cars, AMG Mercs, Porsche 911s and more in this modern performance car era - and seldom do we universally approve. The final and ultimate development of the naturally-aspirated, mid-engined Ferrari concept: a zenith in some ways, perhaps. The car to mark it could hardly be more aptly named or purposefully constructed." Cut from the same cloth as the legendary Challenge Stradale and Scuderia, the Speciale is the last instalment in this hugely collectable line of naturally aspirated thrilling V8 supercars.
One of the first supplied examples, this Speciale has covered just 8,900 miles from new. Presented in the traditional launch combination of Rosso Corsa with a Blu Nart Racing Stripe (PNT4), this example additionally benefits from Giallo brake calipers and more rarely optioned forged satin gold wheels.
The car is lavished with extensive Carbon Fibre options both inside and outside and importantly features the front suspension lifting system.
The extensive option list includes, but is not limited to:
This example was supplied new to its first owner by Meridien Modena Ferrari of Lyndhurst, Hampshire in May 2015 and presents superbly today, on the button, freshly serviced by Dick Lovett in February with four previous services behind it.
