DK Engineering: Elegance Award Recipients at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

We are immensely proud to announce that the 1951 Ferrari 340 America Touring Barchetta, fully restored and returned to original Le Mans specification by DK Engineering, received the highly prestigious Jules Heumann Most Elegant Open Car trophy at the 2025 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance remains the most celebrated and revered event of its kind in the world, and the 74th edition was no exception. Such an occasion saw an impeccable turnout of cars across a breadth of diverse classes celebrating brands, anniversaries and disciplines.

The Ferrari 340 America Touring Barchetta completed the Ferrari Competition class, which included a trio of 250 Tour de France and two 250 LMs. Following the presentation of class awards, the Pebble Beach Honorary Judging Committee distributed a series of special and elegance trophies. Just four elegance awards are available and they are contested by all Pebble Beach Concours entrants, recognising unique attributes and remarkable presentation across the entire field.

It was at this time that the 340 America received the Jules Heumann Most Elegant Open Car award, recognising #0120/A as the finest open car present. The honour is named in memory of a former judge and is an award championed only by 'Best In Show'.

We are truly honoured by this recognition and deeply proud of the entire DK Engineering team. Our extended and heartfelt thanks go to our client for entrusting us with both the restoration and subsequent care of this remarkable Ferrari throughout its journey to Monterey.
